PTI Founder Says He Will Lead the Movement from Jail, Says Aleema Khanum

Aleema Khanum, the sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, has said that despite imprisonment, the PTI leader is determined to continue leading the party and its political movement from behind bars.
Speaking to media representatives, Aleema Khanum revealed that the party founder remains resolute and confident, asserting that he will not abandon the cause under any circumstances. “He is ready to lead the movement from jail if needed,” she said, adding that his commitment to the people of Pakistan and to democratic values remains unwavering.
Aleema also emphasized that the PTI founder believes the current political situation is a test for the nation and the party’s supporters. According to her, he is continuously in touch with party leadership and is guiding strategy, even while incarcerated.
Supporters of PTI have often claimed that their leader is facing political victimization. Aleema reiterated these concerns, calling for fair treatment, legal transparency, and the protection of democratic rights.
As political tensions continue to rise in the country, this statement has once again brought PTI’s leadership under the spotlight, especially regarding the party’s plans for future resistance and political mobilization. Whether or not he will be able to effectively lead from prison remains to be seen, but the message is clear: PTI is not backing down.
